Thomas Hermann is project manager for corporate and crisis communication. One of his strengths is integrated communication. He headed communications, advertising and sponsoring at well-known global companies, most recently with responsibility for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

As CEO of Wirz PR and Ogilvy PR in Switzerland, he oversaw major national and international clients from their global network. He was responsible for the communication of major events, most recently in 2011 for the Challenge Bibendum in Berlin, the most important event worldwide for sustainable mobility.

Thomas Hermann started as a business journalist. He still works as a publisher, including as editor of a book on Visual Branding and as author of professional articles. As a lecturer in PR and marketing, he is committed to the promotion of young talents, also in the context of Swiss development programmes abroad.

Eva Kalias has worked with Weber-Thedy since 2004. She leads strategic projects in financial and corporate communication as well as investor and capital market relations. She focuses on the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology and chemical industries and on private equity.

Eva previously managed and marketed private equity investments in pharma and biotech on behalf of Swiss Life. Prior to that, she headed global investor relations teams at Alusuisse Lonza Group, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Ciba-Geigy (now Novartis). Eva started her career as an International Product Manager for pharmaceuticals at Ciba-Geigy.

Eva received a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Zurich and an MBA from IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Timo Küng joined Weber-Thedy in 2001 as a copywriter, consultant and project manager specializing in Corporate Communication and Investor Relations. Today, he manages complex Corporate Publishing and Corporate Reporting projects.

Before that, Timo worked at Credit Suisse Private Banking. His work languages are German (native speaker), English (Proficiency) and French.

After his Master in International Relations (Lic. rel. int., University of Geneva und IUHEI) he went on to earn an LL.M. at the University of Warwick and a Certificate in Communication Management at ZHAW.

Sean Serafin joined Weber-Thedy in 2009. He leads Corporate Affairs and Litigation Support projects and is responsible for international research and analysis as well as for English and French communications. Sean speaks and writes French and English (native languages) along with German, Italian and basic Russian. Before Weber-Thedy, Sean worked in the investment funds department of a private bank and as a programmer for the Institute for Information Management in St. Gallen. Sean has a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Lausanne and a Master’s degree in Strategy and International Management, the flagship programme of the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. As part of this programme, he spent six months in St. Petersburg, RF.

Louis W. Wagner Ley joined Weber-Thedy in February 2019 as a consultant focusing on topics related to financial market transactions, liquidations and restructurings.

Prior to joining Weber-Thedy, he has been working at Credit Suisse in Asset Management and Mid-Market M&A for EMEA based clients. At the same time, he has been a partner at Oxygen & Partners, a Luxembourg-based PR agency specialized in crisis communication and reputation management. He is also a managing partner and cofounder of Yuzer Group, a Luxembourg and Switzerland-based communication consultancy.

Louis holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from the University of Zurich and is perfectly fluent in English, German, French and Luxembourgish.

Wolfgang Weber-Thedy manages the company with two partners. Since its establishment in 1997, he has advised companies with a focus in German-speaking countries specializing on strategic corporate and financial communication.

In addition, he regularly manages the overall communication and relationship management of companies in special situations such as public offerings, friendly and unsolicited takeover bids, restructuring and integration in M & A operations. His work has won international awards repeatedly.

Wolfgang Weber-Thedy is a law and political science graduate of the University of St. Gallen. He has worked for several years as an assistant lecturer in Economics and Statistics at the Center for Futures Research in St. Gallen.
